Macos catalina apps performance. ITunes is Now Music, Podcasts, and Apple TV. Apple finally realised that the company was making. Music, TV, and podcasts take center stage. ITunes forever changed the way people experienced. While 32-bit processors and operating systems are long outdated, it makes much sense to take the apps to the new level as well. The update ensures better performance and allows access to more than 4GB of RAM, in contrast to 32-bit architecture. Status: Reported to the engineering team for investigation
Momento import not working: 'Unable to import file - the file did not contain a date for the entry.'
Status: We have logged this as an issue but we do not have an ETA for a fix.
Workaround: Manually adjust the Momento export file to have the date in this format preceding each entry: 'Date: June 24, 2016 at 10:59:06 AM MDT'

Status: These have been reported and the team is investigating them.
Workaround: Try removing the books and trying to create them again or recreating them on another iOS device. This may require multiple attempts. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Day One for Android
We are no longer maintaining the current Android app, while we are exploring ways to re-build the Android app from the ground up to be fully compatible with the other Day One apps.
Day One App Not Working On Macos 10.13
Cannot edit certain entries.
Status: This is currently by design. Any entries created or edited in version 2.8 (or later) on macOS or 3.0 (or later) on iOS will not be editable on Android at this time. We built an all-new editor for Day One on iOS and macOS and it has not been added to Android at this time. To prevent data loss when editing entries, this has been locked on Android.
Workaround: Users can still create and view entries on Android. Once the entry is edited on iOS or macOS, it will no longer be editable on Android until the new editor is available there. We do not have an ETA yet.
There are several known issues with Day One Classic (version 1) when using the latest OS versions (iOS 11 & macOS 10.13 or later). Day One Classic is no longer supported. To reset Day One Mac 2.0’s password, do the following:

Quit Day One
Open Keychain Access*.
Search for 'day one'.
Control-click (or right-click) Day One App Locking Password to reveal a contextual menu.
Select Delete “Day One App Locking Password”.
Return to Day One to open it without your previously-set password.
*Keychain Access can be found by searching Spotlight or going to Finder > Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.
iOS/Android
The easiest solution is to try and remember, maybe spend a while guessing possibly combinations.
If you have Touch ID/Face ID or an Android fingerprint enabled for Day One but can't remember the passcode, here are the steps to remove the passcode:
Go to Day One > Settings > Passcode + Biometrics
Turn off the Passcode.
When the numberpad comes up, tap the Touch ID/Face ID icon in the bottom left corner.
Enter your fingerprint or use Face ID. Your passcode will now be reset.
The last solution only works if you are certain that your data has been synced to Day One Sync. Verify by signing in to http://dayone.me/user/login. If that’s the case, you can delete the app from the device and re-install it. Then re-sync your data from the previous sync method.
